Fees & class schedule

Refund policy:

  • Class fees cover instructed class time (as listed in specific class schedule), use of tools and equipment, open studio hours, studio glazes and firing up to 25 lbs of clay. Additional work may be fired for a fee.

  • Pottery class fees include 25 lbs of clay + wood classes include all lumber

  • Classes are subject to change if minimum student quota isn't met (7 students).

  • Class switches will only be available 1 week prior to the commencement of classes and based on the capacity of classes at time of request.​

  • Class fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

    • Refund or Credit (minus $20 processing fee) if a request for refund is received TWO WEEKS and only two weeks before the start of a class.

    • Class cancellations should be made via email- contact@clayroomsf.com

    • No refunds or credits after attending 1st class.

    • Classes missed due to failure to attend, planned absences, minor illnesses or vacations will not be credited for future classes.

    • One-Time class registrations such as Drop-In Clay or Friday Night Clay are considered final ONE WEEK before start of class.

Personal belongings and pottery:

  • Any greenware items following week 6 or end of session will be discarded to make room for the next session

  • Any left over bisque/glazeware will be held for 6-weeks following a class session for pick-up. Following 6-weeks pieces will be donated/or discarded to make room for future classes.

Open studio hours for students:

​Students are highly encouraged to come in and use the studio outside of class time to work on their practice and ensure this is a highly rewarding experience. Open studio hours below.

  • Monday- Thursday: 10AM-6PM

  • Friday & Saturday: 10AM-9PM

  • Sunday 10AM-7:30PM

Covid protocols :

  • Anyone entering the studio must be fully vaccinated.

  • Masks are now optional in our studios. 

  • Please be mindful of others' space.

  • Air filters, HVAC turned on, windows will be open in an effort to keep good air quality throughout the studios.  

  • It is mandatory for all students who are new to the studio attend the first week of classes.

  • Make-Up classes are not guaranteed, but we try and be as flexible, when feasible. If you have to miss a class, please check the schedule (per your studio) through this link here, and you may attend a different comparable class during that given week (subject to there is space in the class). Please show up a few minutes prior to the start of the class in order to request attending that class and to meet the instructor.

    • For Adult classes, Kids must be 14-years old or older
