Membership Program

​

Dive a bit deeper into your craft and join the studio as a member. You'll have unlimited access to our soon to our San Mateo studio between the hours of 10:00 am and 9:00 pm, 7 days a week. Your membership includes a shelf space as well as access to 30+ brand new Shimpo Whisper wheels, a slab roller, extruder, 25 unique commercial and non-commercial dipping glazes, and weekly specialized classes for members only known as the "power hour" classes.

What we're looking for:

​

  • Individuals who have a passion for the discipline and will use the space (at least 2/3x a week)

  • You believe in the community aspect of a working studio. You'll want to be active and involved in some studio endeavors (i.e. mentorship) and enjoy conversing with fellow students and members in the studio and in "power hour" classes

  • A level of proficiency in either wheel-throwing, hand-building, and/or slip-casting and that you can work autonomously

  • Added bonus, you've got a friendly 🐶 that is good around other dogs and people and you're willing to bring the pooch to the studio on leash

Membership Includes

  • Individual- $615/quarterly or $1055/semi-annually * No family membersips at San Mateo

  • Dedicated shelf space and members only space

  • Access to glaze at all three studios (Potrero Hill, SoMa, and San Mateo and Oakland) which includes 85+ glazes

  • Exclusive "Power Hour" classes held 6-8 times per month for members to receive formal lessons without the financial and time commitment of a 6-week class.

  • Free events and heavily discounted specialized workshops

  • Access to the San Mateo studio from 10:00 am - 9:00 pm, 7 days a week

  • Use of studio equipment tools, equipment, underglazes, mason stains, and firing fees included in the cost of clay
