Clayroom SoMa seeks to support under represented communities and explore the art of ceramics through 6-week classes. This scholarship is for BIPOC and/or LGBTQIA+ people and especially those aged 18-25 are encouraged to apply.

This is a full scholarship that will cover the full cost of one 6-week class (instruction, studio space, and one bag of clay with firing fees and glazes included). Applicants can re-apply and attend up to 2 classes per year.
Applicants will be accepted based on details provided in the application pertaining to the information above in addition to capacity of the studio. If you have been selected as a finalist we will be reaching out to have a short interview.

Scholarship Application Deadlines:
Session 4 applications are due Monday, April 22nd. Applicants will be notified about their application status by Monday, April 29th.
Session 6 applications are due Monday, July 15th. Applicants will be notified about their application status by Monday, July 29th.
Session 8 applications are due Monday October 7th. Applicants will be notified about their application status by Monday October 21st.
