Clayroom SoMa seeks to support under represented communities and explore the art of ceramics through 6-week classes. This scholarship is for BIPOC and/or LGBTQIA+ people and especially those aged 18-25 are encouraged to apply.

This is a full scholarship that will cover the full cost of one 6-week class (instruction, studio space, and one bag of clay with firing fees and glazes included). Applicants can re-apply and attend up to 2 classes per year.
Applicants will be accepted based on details provided in the application pertaining to the information above in addition to capacity of the studio. If you have been selected as a finalist we will be reaching out to have a short interview.

Scholarship Application Deadlines:
Session 1 2026 applications are due Monday, November 17th, 2025 .
Session 2 2026 applications are due Monday, January 12th, 2026.
Session 3 2026 applications are due Monday March 2nd, 2026.
Session 4 2026 applications are due Monday April 13th, 2026.
