Clayroom Oakland is a community-centered ceramics studio where creativity, connection, and craftsmanship come together. Opened in 2024 and located in the heart of Oakland, we offer a welcoming space for artists of all levels—from first-time hand-builders to experienced wheel-throwers—to explore the art of clay.

 

As part of the Clayroom family, our Oakland studio reflects our core values: accessible education, artistic expression, and community empowerment.

With a full range of classes, memberships, workshops, and events, we’re here to support your journey in clay, whether you're looking to learn a new skill, deepen your practice, or simply get your hands dirty and have fun.

 

Our studio includes a 1,500-square-foot outdoor space that we use year-round for monthly Raku firings, craft sales, and a variety of community events, creating opportunities for connection and celebration beyond the studio walls.

 

More than just a studio, Clayroom Oakland is a creative hub where people gather to make, share, and grow—together.
