Crossing Over from Ink to Underglaze

Drawing exercises exploring expressive mark making and self portrait with India ink in preparation for drawing with underglaze on clay.

This workshop is structured to warm up the hand with several drawing exercises in ink before transferring these ideas onto 2-3 greenware or bisque pieces (I prefer greenware.) Students will explore an expressive self portrait on clay, decorative mark making, and objects that speak.
