Fiorella Lema Fall Residency Artist Show & Talk

Come join us to celebrate Fiorella Lema,  Clayroom’s WARP Fall 2023 Resident artists' opening gallery and artist talk . 

I am a ceramic sculptural artist, ritualist, and culture bearer living on unceded Ramaytush Ohlone Territory, also known as San Francisco, CA. I was born and raised in Northern California, and was raised in a Peruvian immigrant family who came to the US in the 1990s due to political instability within the country. I’ve been really fortunate to have grown up in a family that encouraged me to stay close to my heritage and continue to explore my roots. One of the goals I had for this residency was building out pieces that speak to my Andean/Peruvian ancestry, CA ecology, and ritualistic visioning. I’ve loved every moment of being in this residency and I’m so fortunate to have had the resources to build out, share and create these pieces ☀️
